Mapping Well-being

  • The goal of this master thesis is to develop a geographical map that displays individual life-satisfaction and well-being within a local community based on longitudinal data of self-reported satisfaction from a panel study. Towards this goal, reliable measures of satisfaction have to be developed and deployed on participants’ smartphones. In a second step, these data need to be linked to participants location by means of gps coordinates. In a third step, potential predictors of well-being will be identified, estimated, and displayed graphically.
